GRAD TESTIMONIALS

Keely Katerberg, Age 17

1st Graduating Class of the Peace Country Christian Academy

Family. That’s the word that comes to my mind when someone asks me about my time at the Peace Country Christian Academy. It truly is the best word to use. Not only does the school provide academic education, it also creates an environment of comfort and love. I was homeschooled for the majority of my life and had only been to public school a few years. I will say I have not only learned more than I had in the public school system, but I developed a love for learning. I received a wonderful education, but was also provided with love shown from staff and had the opportunity to learn about the many character traits a leader should have. The school is centered on independent learning and how to be the best version of yourself. I loved my time at the Peace Country Christian Academy, and I encourage others who want to find direction and knowledge—not only in their walk with God, but in everyday life—to consider enrolling in this school.

2nd Graduating Class of the Peace Country Christian Academy

Reflecting on my four years at Peace Country Christian Academy, it's incredible to see how much I've evolved, not just academically, but as a person. Initially, my decision to come here was driven by the desire to be closer to my sister, and I hoped to receive a higher quality education than what was available in public school. What I discovered was far more valuable. The school's strong foundation in faith, particularly our daily devotions, played a pivotal role in deepening my relationship with God and shaping my values and character.

Beyond academics, the relationships I've forged here are invaluable. I've made deep, lasting friendships with both students and teachers, and I always felt like this school was where I belonged. The teachers genuinely care about your success and are always there to offer guidance and encouragement. I can confidently say that this school has been a nurturing environment where I felt valued and supported every step of the way. The students and teachers never got along just because we had to. We got along because it felt like we were a true family, and our happiness and love toward each other came naturally.

For anyone seeking a school where their children can grow academically, spiritually, and personally, I wholeheartedly recommend Peace Country Christian Academy. It's a place where you'll not only receive a great education but also form lifelong bonds and develop a strong sense of self. I'm going to deeply miss all the fun memories, the laughter, and the shared experiences that have made my time here so special.

Arwen McLaughlin, Age 18

2nd Graduating Class of the Peace Country Christian Academy

Hello, my name is Arwen McLaughlin, and I have attended PenFSJ Christian Academy since the opening in 2021. My overall experience here was fantastic. I grew so much in my walk with God and as a person. I made amazing friends and had the most supportive and caring teachers.

Public school is not the same as the academy.

You feel so much more safe in this school.

In public school, there is peer pressure that nags at you, and speaking about the Bible can be considered hate speech. Here, in this school, you can speak about God as much as you like, read His Word, and talk to teachers about it and questions you have—judgment free.

The school is heavily faith-based and will absolutely plant spiritual seeds in your heart.

This is truly the best school in Fort St. John to equip you in your walk with God. The PACEs, which are small booklets, consist of information and questions which give you knowledge and understanding of real-life problems.

I am so grateful that I got to be in this school and that I was one of the first students to start attending.
